David Le Mouton

Manager / Director

David is one of the founders of Bishman established in 1992. With over 35 years in the NZ electrical industry working on some major projects which include Sky City Casino, Vero Building, Auckland Hospital, Forrester & Ra Ora Data Centres, David brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. From 2007 David has taken responsibility for the day to day management of the various departments including administration that make up Bishman.

Over the years David has been actively involved in the electrical contracting and construction community, being a past National ECANZ (Electrical Contractors Association of NZ) Councillor, an active member of the Auckland branch of ECANZ  and a current Director & Board member of ETCO Training.

Director (Retired)

Bill is one of the founders of Bishman established in 1992. Bill has worked within the NZ electrical industry for over 45 years and brings a varied and extensive knowledge base to the team. Bill is primarily involved with the control of our larger projects such as Mt Eden Prison, Emirates Team NZ America’s Cup bases, both here and overseas and the Auckland South Corrections Facility in Wiri to name a few. Bill was actively involved with ECANZ and has been a Past President of the Auckland branch.




Estimating Manager

Russell started with Bishman in 1992 when the company was established. Russell maintains a “hands on” style of management and is well versed in the field of electrical contracting. His experienced approach has assisted in the success of many major projects including the Auckland City Hospital, Vector Arena and the Auckland University Medical School. Russell is a Registered Electrical Inspector.

Russell is a key member of the Bishman team. He heads our Estimation and Design department and is responsible for all tenders, budgets, consultant peer reviews and electrical design. With over 30 year’s experience running Projects, Russell brings a wealth of knowledge to the estimating team.

Project Manager

Sean started with Bishman in 1995 after returning from the UK. He quickly re-established his very effective project management style. Sean is well known and respected in the electrical contracting industry. His experience and knowledge have been instrumental in the success of the Sky City Casino Project and other projects such as Mt Eden Prison, the Emirates Team New Zealand America’s Cup bases in Auckland, Valencia Spain and San Francisco USA. Sean's latest major project, the Auckland South Corrections Facility in Wiri was a finalist in the prestigious Master Electricians Major Project Award 2015. Sean is also a Registered Electrical Inspector.



regan caldwell

Project Manager

Regan has the distinction of being Bishman's first apprentice qualifying for Registration in 1998. After a period of 7 years in Australia gaining invaluable experience, he returned to NZ and become our 3rd Project Manager. His in-depth knowledge of contracting procedures have been put to good use in the successful completion of data centre projects (Ra Ora and Forrester), several large AUT buildings and the Farmers Distribution Centre in East Tamaki. His latest major project was to successfully complete the DNZ Westgate Mall Project which opened on 1 Oct 2015.



spencer snell

Project Manager

Spencer joined Bishman in 2003. He very quickly displayed potential for advancement and became Bishman’s 4th Project Manager in 2011. Spencer’s first project was the complex construction of the ASB Bank’s HQ at North Wharf in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter. He competently assisted in its completion with deserved recognition. This project won the prestigious Master Electricians Powerbase Major Project Award, the Philips Lighting Award and the ETCO Master Electricians Excellence Award for the best overall project in New Zealand for 2015. Spencer is now overseeing a major refurbishment of the Fletcher Construction HQ in Penrose.



Mark Gummer

Health & Safety Business Partner

Mark joined Bishman in 2017.

Mark has an extensive practical knowledge and skillset from experience in the Emergency Services, Logistics/freight delivery and Construction industries. He is skilled in Incident Management, Government/ Large Organisations, Operational, Health & Safety and Emergency Management.
Professional development goals help ensure both personal and business effectiveness, currency and competency in the HSW sector. This achieved by a collaboration of tertiary study, NZISM, Sitesafe, SiteWise, EMA memberships and participation in national HSW sector conferences.
He is a firm believer in positive HSW language, a behavioural based approach to HSW culture which is evident through the early adoption/execution of mobility for our HSW management system software and sharing creative/adaptive ways to present HSW learning on site.
